A signature on its own proves very little. These four elements are what withstand scrutiny when an agreement is challenged, and every document captures them automatically.
Proof of what was presented
Each signature is bound to the exact, versioned terms displayed on the signer’s screen, hashed and confirmed server-side. If the terms are revised later, earlier signatures remain bound to the version actually shown.
Tamper-evident seal
Every certified PDF is PKI-sealed and fingerprinted with SHA-256. A single altered character changes the fingerprint, and the discrepancy is detectable by anyone.
Data minimization by design
The completed document is delivered to you; Hereby retains the evidence, not the paperwork. Your customers’ financial and personal details are never stored on our systems, so they cannot be exposed from them.
Independently checkable
Anyone can confirm it — without an account.
Every certificate carries a verification address. A counterparty, auditor or court can submit the PDF and confirm it is unaltered. The file is fingerprinted in their own browser and never uploaded — no account, no disclosure, and nothing required from you.
